August 7th, 2010

The Pueblo of Tesuque is holding its 13thAnnual Foot Race Event on Saturday, August 7, 2010, to honor our
Catua and Omtua, the runners of Tay Tsugeh Oweengeh in the Great Pueblo Revolt of 1680. If it were not for
Catua & Omtua we would not be here today as Pueblo of Tesuque, and because of them we are here as Tay
Tsugeh People and we still continued our tradition. The event is for our community.

For last years, 2009 Foot Race Event, the Tewa Department handed out the 13thAnnual Foot Race-
